5-star Ridley 95-percent committed to Alabama

As five-star receiver and Alabama commitment Calvin Ridley of Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch enters the final stretch of his recruiting process, he said the strength of his verbal commitment to the Crimson Tide is at "95 percent."
Ridley plans on graduating in December, getting to Alabama by January and starting life as a college student-athlete.

"I talk to them all the time - that's my school," the 6-foot, 167-pound receiver said. "They didn't tell me I was going to start, but they said there was a good chance I could come in and play if I work hard. I want to put on 10-15 pounds, learn the playbook right away and get comfortable."
Ridley said he'll next be in Alabama for the Crimson Tide's game against Florida though it wouldn't be an official visit. He also said he'll likely take official visits to Florida State and Miami.
Ridley said he wants to visit Florida State because of his relationship with the program.
"I just like coach Dawsey and I got a couple of friends there," he said. "And they throw the ball around a lot."
He's fond of nearby Miami too.
"I've been there a lot," he said. "It's close and my mom likes it a lot. They're cool."
Ridley had 40 catches for 1,100 yards and scored 17 total touchdowns last season.
