5-star K.J. Henry talks visits and future plans

Five-star K.J. Henry’s recruitment is moving right along. The Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth defensive end has taken one unofficial visit and one official visit so far this season but has another official visit coming up with three more in the works. Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech are still Henry’s top five. He talks about all five of those schools, his previous visits, and his future plans in the video above.

Henry took an unofficial visit to Clemson for the Auburn game and enjoyed seeing how the team played and being around the other recruits. Henry specifically commented on how consistent the defensive line play has been under coach Bates.

Georgia got Henry's first official visit for the Mississippi State game. Henry and his family loved the vibe there and he spoke about how Justin Fields' commitment could affect him.

Henry will take his next official visit to Virginia Tech for the North Carolina game. He mentioned that all the Virginia Tech coaches (like the Georgia coaches) have goo relationships with his family. Henry also said that the loss to Clemson doesn't mean much in terms of his recruitment.

He likes that the Alabama and South Carolina coaches are allowing him to focus on his season and aren’t being overbearing. Both schools, along with Clemson, will get official visit later this season but he is not ready to release the dates of those visits yet. Henry is still on track to graduate early.
