5 standing out for DT Howard

Three-star offensive tackle Michael Howard of Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay currently holds more than 20 offers and doesn't have a top five as he enters his senior season. However, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida and UCF are standing out to him at the moment.
"For the most part, those are the schools I'd want to go to (for official visits)," said Howard, who stands at 6-foot-6, 245 pounds. "Nebraska or Wisconsin could jump into the mix."

Howard said he hasn't visited any schools outside of Florida, but has visited all in-state schools that have offered except for Florida State and Florida Atlantic.
Oregon is a school that intrigues him.
"I feel like I could fit in there," he said. "I'm not such a big offensive lineman - I'm more of a quick guy and that's kind of how their offense is set. So, talking (offensive coordinator Scott Frost) and (assistant Joe Bernardi), they talk about getting me up there to visit whenever I can."
Howard said he's also in regular contact with Tennessee, Missouri and South Carolina. When asked which school is pushing for his services the most, he said "it's tough to say."
Howard is planning out his official visit dates and plans to wait on making his decision until after football season.
