THE FIVE-STAR

As a recruit: Ramsey, who burst onto the national recruiting scene by dominating at offseason camp events, originally committed to USC during the summer prior to his senior year. After many twists and turns during his recruitment, he ended up flipping to Florida State on National Signing Day.

What he did this weekend: Ramsey’s brief NFL career has already had plenty of notable moments, including his feud earlier this year with Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith. But on Sunday, Ramsey came through in the clutch, making a key pass deflection to help seal the Jaguars 17-16 comeback victory over the Bears. After being an All-American and a first-round pick, Ramsey is more than living up to his ranking.

THE FOUR-STAR

As a recruit: Harrison committed to North Carolina nearly 18 months before Signing Day in 2015. But as his career went along his recruiting exploded, and he flipped to Alabama during the summer of 2014. Despite a late charge from Georgia, Alabama held on to land Harrison.

What he did this weekend: Harrison has been a factor almost since day one in Tuscaloosa, and on Saturday he played a big part in the Tide’s 49-10 victory over Tennessee. Harrison not only led his team in tackles, but he also intercepted a pass early in the game and returned it for a touchdown, helping start the avalanche of points scored by the Tide. Harrison is living up to his ranking and could be on his way to exceeding it if he continues his excellent play.

THE THREE-STAR

As a recruit: The high three-star running back had only a handful of FBS offers and committed to the Hawgs over Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Duke. Williams made an early commitment and never wavered on his pledge.

What he did this weekend: The sophomore running back exploded for his best game of the season in the Razorbacks' victory over Ole Miss. Williams finished with 180 yards rushing and now sits firmly inside the national top-10 in rushing yards.

THE TWO-STAR

As a recruit: Williams was actually ranked twice by Rivals.com, first as a three-star when he signed with UConn out of prep school in 2012 and then as a two-star when he signed with Utah out of JUCO in 2015. The Utes were Williams' only FBS offer.

What he did this weekend: Williams, who “retired” from football earlier this fall after struggling in the Utes first two games, returned to the team after injuries decimated the program's running back depth. Despite practicing for less than a week, Williams rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown and helped Utah defeat Oregon State in a key Pac-12 game.

THE UNRANKED: ZACH ZENNER

As a recruit: Zenner didn’t even have a Rivals.com profile as a member of the Class of 2010, and he elected to sign with FCS program South Dakota State. He had a prolific career with the Jackrabbits, rushing for 2,000 yards in back-to-back seasons in 2013 and 2014.

What he did this weekend: Zenner, who was signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent last year, had the best game of his NFL career on Sunday, rushing for 58 yards in the Lions' 31-28 victory over the Rams. While he will likely be relegated to spot duty, his game on Sunday shows that diamonds in the rough still exist from a scouting standpoint on all levels.
