THE FIVE-STAR

As a recruit: Kamara could actually fit into two categories as he was a ranked as a four-star out of high school but re-ranked as a five-star as a junior college player. After signing with Alabama out of high school and redshirting during his lone year in Tuscaloosa, he spent a year in junior college before signing with the Vols over Georgia.

What he did this week: With Jalen Hurd out due to an injury, Kamara stepped into the feature back spot for the Vols and didn’t disappoint. Kamara ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns against Texas A&M and had another 161 yards receiving, capped off by the game-tying touchdown that helped send the game to overtime. While Tennessee didn’t come out on top, Kamara showed the nation just how dynamic he can be when given the opportunity.

THE FOUR-STAR

As a recruit: Walker was one of the nation’s top defensive linemen and his recruitment went down to the wire with Alabama and Florida State both vying for his signature until the last minute. In the end, the Seminoles won out, much to the chagrin of the Alabama coaching staff.

What he did this week: Walker has had some monster games this year and while his stat line against Miami might not jump off the page, Walker made one of the biggest plays of the year. After the Hurricanes scored late in the fourth quarter to make the score 20-19, Walker blocked the extra point, sealing the victory for his team. Walker has more than lived up to his ranking and figures to be an NFL draft pick next spring.

THE THREE-STAR

As a recruit: Despite impressive physical tools, Bradford was overlooked by many programs outside of the Midlands, electing to stay close to home and play for the Sooners over other suitors like Iowa State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

What he did this week: Bradford continues to shine for Minnesota, the team that acquired him for a first-round pick just prior to the start of the season. On Sunday, he led the Vikings to another victory, throwing for 271 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Houston Texans. As a former No. 1 overall pick and Heisman Trophy winner, he has clearly outplayed his ranking as a high school prospect.

THE TWO-STAR

As a recruit: Hilton elected to say close to home and attend FIU, despite a late charge from both West Virginia and Ole Miss. He officially visited both schools late in the process, but announced for the Panthers on National Signing Day in 2008.

What he did this week: In his fifth NFL season, Hilton continues to be Andrew Luck’s favorite target. On Sunday he hauled in 10 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown and continues to be one of the NFL’s most exciting wide receivers.

THE UNRANKED: CULLEN GILLASPIA

As a recruit: Gillaspia starred in both football and baseball as a high school prospect at Katy (Texas) Taylor, but didn’t have one scholarship offer or a Rivals.com profile. He elected to walk-on at Texas A&M and redshirted in 2014 before seeing spot duty in 2014.

What he did this week: It’s a long-standing tradition for a former walk-on to wear the No. 12 for Aggies and Gillaspia was given the honor prior to this year by head coach Kevin Sumlin. He’s yet to disappoint and on Saturday in the Aggies' overtime victory over the Vols, he made several special teams plays, including forcing a fumble in first quarter. Gillaspia got plenty of screen time for his on-field play and sideline antics and his star will only likely continue to shine among the Aggie faithful.
