THE FIVE-STAR

As a recruit: Peppers burst onto the recruiting scene early in his high school career and, despite being a national-level recruit, he shied away from spotlight and elected to commit to the Wolverines prior to his senior season.

What he did this weekend: After being forced to redshirt due to an injury in 2014, Peppers has been the face of the Wolverines program. On Saturday, he played on both offense and defense in the school’s first victory over rival Michigan State since 2012. Peppers finished the game with seven tackles and a sack, and also had 24 yards rushing and a touchdown.

THE FOUR-STAR

As a recruit: Bentley was originally a member of the 2017 class, but reclassified and enrolled in time to join South Carolina just prior to the start of preseason camp. Bentley weighed options that including Auburn, Alabama and Georgia before electing to commit to South Carolina, where his father Bobby is the Gamecocks' running back coach.

What he did this weekend: After being expected to redshirt, Bentley now looks like the quarterback of the future in Columbia. He led the Gamecocks to a stunning victory over Tennessee, showing poise beyond his years while passing for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

THE THREE-STAR

As a recruit: Leggett was identified early in the process by Clemson, and committed to the Tigers nearly a year before National Signing Day 2013. He garnered mild interest as a recruit, with Louisville being his only other Power Five offer.

What he did this weekend: Leggett has developed into one of Deshaun Watson’s favorite targets and on Saturday he came up big when it mattered most. Leggett hauled in the go-ahead touchdown late in the win over Florida State, part of a five-catch, 122-yard performance.

THE TWO-STAR

As a recruit: Foreman had a handful of Power Five offers but elected to stay in-state with the Longhorns, committing prior to his senior season in the summer of 2013. Foreman never wavered on his commitment, making his only official visit to Austin.

What he did this weekend: Foreman is having a monster junior season for the Longhorns and on Saturday he was dominant in the team's upset of Baylor. He finished the game with 250 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and has already gone over 1,100 yards rushing on the season.

THE UNRANKED: DARE OGUNBOWALE

As a recruit: Not only was Ogunbowale unranked as a high school prospect in the class of 2012, he was originally taken as a walk-on by the Badgers to play defensive back before switching to offense at the start of his sophomore season.

What he did this weekend: Ogunbowale has gone from walk-on to team captain and on Saturday he had the biggest game of the season. He helped Wisconsin defeat Nebraska while rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on just 11 carries. For his career, Ogunbowale has 1,350 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
