4 Star RB will make visits

Stevie Hicks' Omaha Creighton Prep team just finished its regular season at 8-2. They will be playing Omaha Benson in the first round of the Nebraska Class A playoffs. Stevie said, "I had a pretty good season. I led Class A with over 1600 yards and 17 touchdowns. I played both ways - running back and defensive end. I much preferred playing running back."
Stevie still gets frequent calls from Iowa (Coach Ferentz), Nebraska (Coaches Solich & Young), and especially Michigan and Purdue. Stevie said, "The coaches are all nice." When asked for the coaches who've made the biggest impression on him Stevie Hicks said, "Coach Mike Grant, the running backs coach for Iowa State." He also said that the facilities at Iowa State really impressed him.

Stevie is still committed to Iowa State. When asked to rate the firmness of his commitment from 1-10 he said, "Probably a six or seven." However Stevie said that he plans to take recruiting visits to Michigan, Purdue and Iowa. Coach McCarney knows this, Stevie said. He has also been to a few Nebraska games, most recently the game with Iowa State where he stood on the Nebraska side of the field.
The 6-foot-2, 215 pound running back said that he doesn't foresee himself changing his mind about his commitment to Iowa State. He said that he will be in Ames this coming weekend for the Cyclones' game against Kansas State.
