4-Star McCloud III set to announce

Four-star athlete Ray-Ray McCloud III of Tampa (Fla.) Sickles said he will announce his decision on Monday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m. live on local station BHSN TV47.
Though Florida is the favorite to land McCloud III, his final list includes nine schools from the nearly 50 that have offered. Those nine are Florida, Florida State, Miami, Maryland, Clemson, South Carolina, UCLA, North Carolina and USF.

McCloud said his mind is already made up.
"I know the school I'm choosing," he said. "It felt right for me every time I went on campus, and the relationships I have with the coaches."
He said he's looking forward to ending the speculation behind where he'll go.
"It will be a relief when the process is over," McCloud said. "It's a weight off my back. The process has been great. It hasn't been overwhelming but at times it's been hard, but it's been fun.
"I'm very excited. It will mean a lot to me just knowing I'm blessed to go to a university on a scholarship, which is an opportunity a lot of people don't get."
McCloud will make three move visits between now and his announcement. He'll visit a school not on his final list, Alabama, sometime between July 17-20 while he's in Hoover for the National Select 7 on 7 Championships, though he said he doesn't expect them to jump into the mix.
He'll be at Florida July 25 for Friday Night Lights and he lives close to the South Florida campus and visits regularly.
McCloud is the No. 2-ranked athlete in the country and No. 26 overall. He is one of the Sunshine State's most versatile players and could line up running back, receiver or even cornerback at the next level.
