4-star Gibson to announce on Monday

Four-star athlete Torrance Gibson of Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage will announce his college choice on Monday at 1 p.m. at his school. In all likelihood, the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Gibson will commit to his long-time favorite, Ohio State, the only school he's officially visited this season.
In a September interview with Rivals.com, he named Arizona, Oklahoma and LSU as in the mix but named Ohio State his leader.

"I like their spread-attack offense," Gibson said of the Buckeyes. "They have a great coaching staff and an offense that fits me."
Though he's listed as an athlete, Gibson made it known his only intentions are to remain a quarterback at the next level. Gibson has excellent speed and has shown the ability to dominate as a dual-threat quarterback and has the potential to make an impact in Urban Meyer's offense.
"They want me as a quarterback, nothing else," Gibson said, adding he talks to the staff every day.
Earlier this season Gibson said he was putting his recruiting process on hold to focus on his SAT score. With his score apparently in good shape, he's ready to make his announcement, which will coincide with his Army All-America jersey presentation.
