Four-star Deon Jones just finished up visits to Pittsburgh and Ohio State. The Rivals250 defensive back from Oxon Hill (Md.) Potomac hopes to take two more visits before shutting his recruitment down.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

On his visit to Pittsburgh: "This was my second time at Pittsburgh," Jones said. "I went on the tour with my teammate Tayon Fleet-Davis and we saw some things like the dorms. It was a cool visit. I really liked it. There was this chill city vibe and I found out some things about it that I never knew before.

On his visit to Ohio State: "I loved it at Ohio State," he said. "It was my first time there. I really liked it. I also worked out for the second part of the camp and I did pretty well. The coach told me I was tall, long, a good feed and good pad level. In one-on-ones I did well also.

On where his recruitment goes from here: "I'm going to try to visit Florida and Florida State before I really shut this down," Jones said. "Right now I'm just weighing my options out. I definitely like coach Aazaar at Maryland. Coach Reed at Clemson is a good guy. I also really like the coaches at Florida."

RIVALS' REACTION

Watch for Jones to announce a commitment before the upcoming season. Maryland is the likely destination at this point but Clemson and Florida are lurking and could make a move if Jones takes visits there and really likes how they went. While his visits to Pittsburgh and Ohio State went well, it doesn't sound like they be big factors when it comes time for Jones to announce his commitment.
