He said, "I could do better as a player and we could also do better as a team."
He has basically eliminated Texas and Texas A&M - "I would like to get out of the state of Texas to see something different."
"My top six at this time would be West Virginia, Arkansas, UCLA, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Alabama," Vaughn said.
He made an official visit to West Virginia last weekend after a teammate talked him into going there with him. "West Virginia was nice as the coaches treated me right. They treated me as an equal and gave me respect," he said.
"Miami, Nebraska and Notre Dame are being pulled off my list of official visits, because I would only have two left and I don't know where I'm going to take them for sure," Vaughn said.
"The most impressive coaches I've talked to would have to be West Virginia and the coaches from Arkansas and Michigan State. They were people I could talk to, so that really impressed me," Vaughn said.
