4-star DB Bell mapping out future

If all goes according to plan, four-star safety Vonn Bell of Rossville (Ga.) Ridgeland would like to pick a college by the time summer ends.
"I'm trying to get all of the work done before my senior year," Bell told Rivals.com. "We're going to see what happens."

To date, the 6-feet-1, 190-pound Bell has over a dozen offers, and they've come from many of the country's top programs.
"I know I've got more than 15 of them," Bell said. "The most recent were Virginia Tech, Clemson and Missouri."
If Bell is favoring anyone, he isn't saying. In fact, he has done a nice job keeping everything pretty close to the vest.
"I don't have any [leaders] at this time," Bell said. "After Spring Break, I'll probably have some leaders. It's the first week of April. At this point, they're all trying to take a shot at me and get me up to their camps."
For Bell, Spring Break will be taken seriously. He plans to visit a few colleges during his time off from school, but said he isn't sure yet which ones he will check out.
"My mom said it's a business trip," Bell said. "There's a couple I'm trying to see, but there are no dates set. Nothing is set right now".
Thus far, Bell has visited Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee. This Saturday, he "probably" will travel to either Georgia or Vanderbilt.
"I'll know [which one] by Thursday or Friday," he said.
Not only will Bell visit more colleges, but several intend to visit him when his team begins spring practice May 9.
"I know a couple are coming out to see me," Bell said. "I'm real excited about the experience."
