4-Star CB Solid on CU Commit

Sammy Joseph is undoubtedly one of the finest defensive backs in the country. The 6-foot-1, 185 pound Joseph is a four-star prospect who's rated as the 10th-best cornerback in the nation by Rivals. Joseph's Marrero (LA) team stands at 7-5 and is preparing for its big game with Evangel in the third round of the state playoffs.
About his season Joseph said, "To be honest with you it was a real slow year. Teams didn't throw my way very much." Still, he collected three interceptions and returned two punts for touchdowns.

Joseph remains firmly committed to Colorado. He took an unofficial visit to Colorado and things just clicked for him. "It's a great place to play college football, plus it's an excellent academic school," said Joseph. He said he will not be taking any other visits except to Colorado.
When asked for other factors in his decision Joseph said, "I like Coach McMahon, the defensive backs coach. When I was there we talked a lot and he was totally honest with me. That showed me a lot."
