4 lead for 2-star LB Curtis

Two-star linebacker Shawn Curtis of Doral (Fla.) Ronald Reagan doesn't have a top five from his 10 offers, but Mississippi State, Duke, Illinois and Pittsburgh are standing out to him.
Curtis, who stands at 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, doesn't have any official visits planned out and doesn't have a set date to announce his decision. He also doesn't have a favorite among his top schools.

The deciding factors on which school he'll choose are simple.
"I'm going to go with a school that I like because I'll be living there for the next four or five years," he said. "I want to go somewhere with good academics and where I'll feel comfortable."
Here's what Curtis had to say about his current leaders:
Mississippi State: "It's in a big conference and it's an all-around school. It's good academically and in football."
Duke: "That's probably the school I'm looking most forward to visiting. They have good academics and they're a good football school. I've heard people say nice things about the campus."
Illinois: "It's a good football school and it's good academically. It seems very family-oriented, which I like."
Pittsburgh: "There's a good atmosphere there because they work out with the Steelers. That's better exposure and you can talk to NFL players that have experience and learn from them."
