Three-star class of 2015 cornerback Chris Barr of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian holds more than 20 offers but isn't naming a top five. He has, however, named Louisville and Rutgers as schools he definitely wants to take official visits to.
Barr consistently communicates with Louisville and was offered after a camp this offseason.
"I like the coaching staff," said the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Barr. "We talk every week. They said I'm a good player and can fit in with what they run on defense or offense and that it's up to me what position I play. So I do appreciate that."
Rutgers offered Barr following Trinity Christian's spring game.
"I like the coaching staff," he said. "They showed major love and me feel like I was theirs."
"Everybody is standing out," he said. "I haven't made my decision on where I want to go yet, so everyone is about even. I'll base my decision on where I fit in best - somewhere I see myself being for four years.
"I want to go somewhere my mom can see me play and where I can compete for a starting position my freshman year."
