3-star LB Belton waiting on Louisville

Class of 2015 three-star Blythewood (S.C.) linebacker Hassan Belton already has a dozen offers, but he's still holding out hope that a Big Five schools will join his list soon.
"Everything is going good and I have 12 offers right now but most big schools are saying that they like me and want me to wait," the 5-foot-11, 202-pound prospect said. "So I'm going to wait to make a decision until late August or early September.

Among the schools that are showing interest in Belton is Louisville and N.C. State, with Belton having recently camped with the Cardinals.
"I went to their camp and balled out," said Belton, who won linebacker MVP honors at the Rivals Camp Series Charlotte event in March. "They said they have offered a few linebackers and they are waiting to see what they do."
Belton said he enjoyed working with the Cardinals coaches and was also impressed with the Louisville campus.
"I loved it," Belton said. "I could see myself going there. It has a nice atmosphere and all that stuff."
With the camp season winding down Belton said he's starting to shift his focus to his senior season, but will be waiting anxiously for his phone to ring.
"I'm just waiting to see what happens," he said. "Not just from Louisville but for everybody before I make a decision."
