3-star Florida RB Tajae Davis still interested in Kentucky

After watching star running back Benny Snell carve his way through defenses over the past few years and then go on to be selected in this year's NFL Draft, high school running back prospects from around the country have a new respect for Kentucky. That respect has opened doors across the country and left the 'Cats picking from several options at the position. With two backs already in the fold in this year's class, Kentucky might be full at the position at this point, but that hasn't stopped the school from keeping in touch with other prospects just in case, including three-star Florida back Tajae Davis. Rivals.com recently caught up with Davis to talk about the 'Cats, including his visit to campus last month.

"I went up to Kentucky last month and I went to FIU for a camp as well."

Kentucky: "It was good. I really enjoyed it. It felt like home up there and it feels like some place I would go. It's way different from Florida. I know it gets cold up there and I'm not used to that. But that would be something I would have to adjust to. When I visited earlier in the year it was snowing when I was there and that was crazy. That was my first time ever seeing now."

Camp experience: "They love the way I play. They were teaching me things to work on and improve my game like footwork and stuff like that. They said I have the whole package."

Recent running back success: "They just had Benny Snell and he's a guy that had a great career and got drafted. They told me that I remind them of him but I think our styles are a little different. He was a real powerful back and I feel like I have a little more speed. I like to compete and they have a competitive environment up there among their running backs and I like that."

Official visit: "They said they want me to come back for one so I think I'm going to do that."
