3-star Florida RB Knowledge McDaniel eager to learn about Nebraska

Like most prospects in the Central Florida area, three-star running back Knowledge McDaniel is very familiar with new Nebraska coach Scott Frost. But after picking up an offer from Frost and the new Huskers staff earlier this month, McDaniel realized he needed to learn more about Nebraska.

“That was my latest offer and it was a big one,” McDaniel said. “They came by my school to see me and then my coach let me know I have an offer. I’m still just starting to get to know the coaches there.”

McDaniel’s high school coaches were very excited about the offer and are already urging him to do his research on the school.

“It’s pretty nice to get a big offer like that,” McDnaiel said. “My coaches are really familiar with Coach Frost so they encouraged me to look more into it. It’s a nice school.”

While he still has a lot to learn about the Huskers, McDaniel said he fully expects Frost to be a success in Lincoln, mainly due to his recruiting prowess.

“I think he will do well there,” McDaniel said. “Because they can get bigger talent at Nebraska and it’s just bigger football so they will only get better.”
