Just one day after Notre Dame lost the commitment of top-100 quarterback Deuce Knight, the Fighting Irish has lost another commitment on the offensive side of the ball.

This departure comes from longtime commitment, Bryant (Ark.) three-star running back Daniel Anderson.

Anderson had been committed to Notre Dame for over a year, pledging on September 23, 2023. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder is the No. 5 prospect in the state of Arkansas as well as the No. 28 running back in the 2025 cycle.

As mentioned, Anderson's decommitment comes on the heels of Deuce Knight's. What makes this significant is Anderson committed to the Irish following Knight as well. After Knight committed on a Monday, Anderson would make the same move less than seven days later.

Looking at options in his recruitment, the three-star prospect has previously reported offers from Colorado, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Arkansas State, and Long Island.

Now being back on the market, it would be expected other schools take a look at Anderson's abilities.
