2021 OL Bryce Foster talks early offers from Auburn, Georgia

KATY, Tex. -- Katy Taylor is set on the offensive line for the foreseeable future and 2021 guard Bryce Foster is a big part of the reason why.

Foster, who holds early offers from Auburn and Georgia, is one half of a very promising freshman duo - joined by offensive tackle Hayden Conner. Both are flanked on the opposite side by 2019 Florida commit Andrew Coker.

Although Foster was in a rotation at his position in last Friday night’s win over Mayde Creek, he was strong in his opportunities on the field. He said that sort of stick-to-itiveness is what helped him earn those early offers from the two SEC powers.

“I went to the camps and everything, he said. “I just worked through the entire camps and met all the coaches - actually had little visits with them before the actual camps. Then, after the one-on-ones, I went to the head coaches’ offices and they said that yeah, they want to offer me.

“It’s a great feeling; it’s such a surreal moment.”

Foster has the unique brag of having the numbers of coaches like Kirby Smart, Herb Hand and Sam Pittman in his phone's contacts and getting that communication started. Playing for either team is a big opportunity but early on, it looks as though Georgia’s success this season has sparked some added interest from up-and-comer

“Both of them easily have two of the best offensive lines in the SEC, hands down,” he said. “Especially Georgia, they’re having a great year. They’re ranked what, Number 5? I’ve been paying attention to all that and have just been astounded by how well their O-Line and everything’s working together.”

RIVALS REACTION

Although Foster is already in the 6-3 to 6-4 range, he’s still working with a stout build and has the look of a burgeoning interior lineman. Even though he didn’t get quite the workload of his aforementioned teammates on Friday, there is little doubt that Foster will be a name to keep an eye on for the next several seasons.
