2021 Florida DT Laregos Williams hoping for UCF, FSU offers

The spring and summer is prime time for prospects to add offers, especially when coaches are out on the road evaluating and when prospects have a chance to perform on campus. One of the prospect hoping to catch the eye of coaches this spring was 2021 Florida defensive tackle prospect Laregos Williams. The powerful defensive linemen did exactly that at Florida State, drawing some personal attention from the Seminoles coaches after a strong camp showing. Rivals.com caught up with Williams to talk about the Noles and the potential of an offer, as well as his childhood favorite, UCF.

"Right now I have two offers, Louisville and Southern Miss. Because I'm an underclassmen and they can't call me we haven't have been talking as much but we're only a little bit away from when they can start hitting us up."

June visits: "I camped at Florida State in June and I really enjoyed it. It was a good experience. The coaches were really good and I got a chance to meet and talk with them and they gave me some good feedback. They told me to follow them on twitter and keep them updated on how I'm doing so that's what I'm going to do. I was working with coach Odell Haggins and he's a great coach. He's old school. I liked his approach. He gives it to you straight and I like his style."

Potential offers: "I have been watching UCF and that's the team I sort of grew up rooting for. I have watched Florida State some, too. It would be big for me to get offers from either of those schools."

UCF: "I've been talking to them a few times and I'm just getting to know the coaches and stuff like that. If I got that offer I might commit on the spot."

Other visits/camps: "I want to visit or camp with Miami, Florida and Georgia."
