2020 RB Jo'Quavious Marks picks up first three offers

ATLANTAJo'Quavious Marks rushed for 1,246 yards and a dozen touchdowns as a freshman at Carver High and the 5-foot-11, 178 pound running back has put his name on the recruiting map.

It has been very active this spring at Carver and many coaches wanted to take a look at the rising sophomore. The state of Georgia has some talented running backs who have already emerged in the 2020 class and Marks looks to be one of the best.

Syracuse was first to offer May 3, then it was Kansas State May 5. Alabama is the most recent offer and the Crimson Tide offered May 8.

"It is exciting to get these offers and it is just going to push me to work harder to get more," said Marks. "Getting the first one was big, but each time I have found out about an offer, it is has been pretty exciting."

He does not know much about the Orange or Wildcats yet, but he has already visited Tuscaloosa (Ala.) and the Crimson Tide are close to home, so he knows about Nick Saban's program.

"I like how they use their running backs and how they produce running backs at Alabama. They use multiple backs, switching them in and out and they have sent a lot to the NFL. I also like how organized they are and how they win."

Georgia, LSU and Ohio State are schools Marks named when asked about others he hopes to add offers from. One of those was his childhood favorite.

"I have always like Georgia a lot," said Marks. "I love Todd Gurley, I have watched him a lot and I have been there before. I love the crowd, they show players love and I like the coaches there too.

"They always have good running backs, they get the ball to their guys and it is a school I would love to get an offer from."

Marks plans to camp at Georgia this summer.
