2019 in-state WR Jordan Jernigan commits to Ole Miss

Jordan Jernigan has announced his commitment to Ole Miss and he chose the Rebels over the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

"I have been thinking about committing to Ole Miss for a while," said Jernigan. "I have been to games and I have just taken visits to Ole Miss and I liked it there," said Jernigan.

"Ole Miss has been showing me a lot of love and I like that a lot. My birthday is Monday (November 27) and I was going to do it then, but I went ahead today.

"When I am there, it is a good feeling. They have been treating me like family and they make me feel right at home. They have great fans and I just like it there a lot."

Matt Luke led Ole Miss as the interim head coach to a big win in the Egg Bowl Thanksgiving night. The star out of Tupelo (Miss.) knows there are questions about who the head coach will be in 2018, but he is not too concerned with that right now.

"I know there are some questions about coaches there, but I just like the program overall. Ole Miss has been my favorite for a while and they have a great program with great fans.

"I just like how I feel when I am there."

Jernigan is the second 2019 prospect to commit to Ole Miss. Jamond Gordon was the first.
