2019 Georgia prospect Kenyatta Watson high on Tennessee

Kenyatta Watson ()

The Latest: Class of 2019 Georgia defensive back Kenyatta Watson has been on quite a run as of late when it comes to recruiting, adding several offers while camping and visiting schools across the country. But when asked about which offer caught his eye the most, Watson admitted that Tennessee really caught his attention when the Vols joined his list last month. Rivals.com caught up with him to talk about the school and what the offer means for his recruitment.

In His Words: "The offer from Tennessee really made me happy. That’s one of the schools I’ve really liked going back to their spring game and other tours I’ve made there. The last time I was there was the spring game. It was great. They had a huge crowd, I think they might have broken their record for a spring game. After the offer I got like 300-400 followers from Tennessee, they’re great and it’s crazy but they’re really good fans. That’s not going to have a major impact on my decision but it’s nice to see that they really support the school. Going to the NFL, that’s my main goal as of now, but I also want to go somewhere that’s going to help me succeed in life in case football doesn’t work out I have a backup plan to fall on and I really feel like Tennessee could be that place."

Rivals Reaction: It's still very early in Watson's recruitment and Tennessee won't be the first big offer to catch Watson's attention. However, the fact that he's already visited campus several times and likes the school could bode well for the Vols down the road.
