2019 4-star Florida DB Joshua Sanguinetti impressed with Ohio State

The Latest: The Ohio State Buckeyes have done a great job of pulling talent out of Florida in recent years and as usual the school is targeting some elite prospects in the 2018 and 2019 class. One of those prime targets of four-star defensive back Joshua Sanguinetti. Rivals.com caught up with Sanguinetti to talk about the Buckeys at the recent Miami stop of the Rivals 3-Stripe Camp Series presented by adidas.

In His Words: “Ohio State has been doing a great job of recruiting me. They put a lot of players in the league and I like what they’re doing with the program. Coach Zach Smith is my recruiter and he’s a really good coach. He’s like a father figure to their players and we have a good bond. I’m trying to set a date for a spring visit because I want to get up there and see practice. They said they like the way I play and they think I can fit their program and playing style well.”

Rivals Reaction: It’s still very early in the process for Sanguinetti, who has been collecting offers on a nearly daily basis in recent weeks. The face that the Buckeyes are on him early and he’s already looking at visiting should be seen as a good sign for the school. The next step is actually getting him to Columbus so the coaches can make their sales pitch in person.
