2018 Rivals250 ATH Kyler McMichael talks Michigan

The Latest: Class of 2018 Rivals250 prospect Kyler McMichael emerged on the recruiting scene last spring, garnering offers from several schools to play cornerback. But after a monstrous season a running back that saw him help his team to a state championship game, McMichael now finds himself with options on both sides of the ball. Because of his busy season McMichael didn’t take many visits, but one school he did visit was Michigan. Rivals.com caught up with McMichael to talk about the Wolverines.

In His Words: “I went to the Hawaii game at the beginning of the season. It was a really good experience. They offered me as a corner but now they’re talking about me playing both ways. Jabril Peppers is my favorite player and see him going both ways and it’s definitely something I want to do if I can. I have family up there, too, so it would work well for me if I were to go there.”

Rivals Reaction: McMichael let his recruitment take a back seat during the fall as he focused on his junior season. Expect that to change in the coming months as several programs will likely be trying to get him on campus during the spring and summer. The fact that he already visited Michigan is a good sign for the Wolverines and he’s a name for UM fans to watch going forward.
