2018 DL Rice a name to remember

Class of 2018 Louisville (Ky.) Dupont Manual defensive end Tahj Rice is just getting started on his recruiting journey, but the 6-foot-2, 268-pound rising sophomore is a name for fans to remember going forward.
This spring several schools stopped in to see Rice during the evaluation period, with the in-state Wildcats already taking a liking to Rice.

"Kentucky is the one showing me the most interest right now," he said. "They are still evaluating me but my coach told me they like me."
While he's still waiting on his first offer, Rice said he has a school in mind that he hopes joins his recruitment soon.
"Notre Dame is the school I want to hear from," he said. "I like their academic values as well as their athletics."
Rice has a busy summer planned and it will be his first chance to see most schools in person.
"This year is just my freshman year so I haven't had too many chances to go places but I plan on going to some camps this summer," he said. "I want to see UCLA, Notre Dame, Georgia. I don't really get a summer, it's basically a football tour."
The Bruins are another program Rice is hoping to impress.
"I'm excited to see UCLA," he said. "I like the school. I had a couple of family members that went and they told me they liked it a lot so I want to see it for myself."
