2017 Fla. ATH adding offers

Class of 2017 Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons athlete Daniel Wright is busy preparing for his sophomore year, but already schools are starting to take notice.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Wright recently picked up offers from Cincinnati and Pittsburgh and said he hopes it's just the beginning.

"I've just been working and trying to do everything I can to keep getting better," Wright said. "Coaches from Miami, UCF, Pitt and Boston Collee came by and they all seem interested."
Wright is allowed to coaches directly when they're on campus, but the Pitt staff relayed a message through his coach at Cardinal Gibbons.
"They were saying they see a lot of potential in me," Wright said. "They like what they've seen from me on the field and they like my work ethic and my focus and they think I can be a good player."
While plenty of schools will likely offer before it's all said and done, there's one school Wright is waiting on.
"Probably the one school I want to get an offer from is Florida," said Wright, whose older brother Major was a member of Florida's national championship team in 2009. "I was around the program a lot and I've been privileged to get to do some of the things my brother has done. Now it's good to train with him because I keep getting better."
Wright and Cardinal Gibbons just started spring practice, and he said he's expecting plenty of more coaches to be by to see him.
