2017 DE/LB high on Georgia after visits

His sophomore season is about to come to an end, thanks to Atlanta (Ga.) Riverwood failing to qualify for the Georgia State Football Playoffs, but that hasn't slowed things down on the recruiting from for 2017 defensive end Jaden Hunter.
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound prospect has already taking two visits to Georgia and will visit Kentucky this weekend when the Wildcats host the 'Dawgs. He said there's a reason he's been a regular at Georgia games this season.

"I've really been talking to Georgia the most," he said. "Not really many schools have been on me like they have. I think an offer could be coming soon. They haven't really mentioned it but I just get that feeling that it is."
Hunter said he enjoyed both trips he's taken to Athens, especially the season-opening win over Clemson.
"Clemson was probably the best game I've been to for a visit," Hunter said. "I liked the atmosphere, I was treated well and I got a lot of attention from the coaches."
Because of his size, Georgia is telling Hunter than he would be an ideal fit in the defensive scheme.
"They like me on defense as an outside linebacker/defensive end hybrid," Hunter said. "They see me getting after the passer and getting into the backfield and making plays."
Hunter hasn't been in touch much with the Kentucky coaches, but he's hoping that will change after this weekend's trip.
"I was supposed to go to the camp over the summer but I couldn't make it," Hunter said. "I'm actually thinking they might offer if I get there and they like what they see."
In addition to being a prospect, Hunter is also a big football fan and said he's been impressed with Kentucky's success on the field this season.
"I've noticed some of the success they've been having and it's kind of shocking to me actually," he said. "They've been having a great year. I think I'm going to go up and see a good games on both sides of the ball."
On the year Hunter has 40 total tackles, including five for loss.
