2017 DB Brown enjoys Georgia Tech visit

Class of 2017 Fairburn (Ga.) Landmark Christian defensive back D.J. Brown already has one SEC offer on his resume, but he's hoping the ACC school closest to his backyard will be the next to pull the trigger.
Brown was on campus for Georgia Tech's game against Miami earlier this month and said he got some pretty positive vibes from the Yellow Jackets staff about the possibilities of an offer coming soon.

"They like me on defense and I know Coach Roof well," Brown said. "They have talked to my coach about maybe offering me and I'm just staying patient."
Brown said he got to go behind the scenes prior to the game and also reconnect with several Georgia Tech players he's familiar with.
"It was a nice experience because we saw their locker rooms and weight rooms and everything," Brown said. "I train with a lot of their defensive backs during the offseason so it was nice to talk to them down on the field before the game."
Even though Georgia Tech didn't come out on top, Brown said he came away impressed with the experience.
"It was an amazing game," Brown said. "The crowd was great and they were really into it."
