2016 WR talks USC offer

Dylan Crawford had been hearing a little bit from USC but he definitely did not think an offer was coming when he visited for practice this past weekend.
That is exactly what happened though on Saturday when the 2016 wide receiver from La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis went to the USC workout.

Many other prospects were also offered that day and Crawford said the Trojans are definitely an early favorite.
"It was good," Crawford said. "I came here to watch the practice and coach (Steve Sarkisian) said he wanted to talk to me. He offered me and I was shocked but really blessed to even have this opportunity.
"They've been talking to me a little but not that much. I came here and they told me they really liked my film. They were looking at my film and I could do a lot of stuff on the field.
"(Sarkisian) wants me to be a Trojan and he said he could see me playing there in the future."
There is no question the USC offer is really important to Crawford but the 2016 wide receiver said he's going to take his time with the recruiting process.
The Trojans are in a great position with the 6-foot, 172-pound prospect but because he hasn't even started his junior season yet the St. Francis standout doesn't want to rush anything yet. He will wait to see if others get involved as well.
"It's huge," Crawford said of the offer. "It's one of my favorite schools from earlier experiences and I'm really thankful to have it.
"I'm still just looking around and seeing some other options but SC is definitely a really big offer."
