2016 WR on Auburns radar

Class of 2016 Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County wide receiver Kiel Pollard came into his junior season with an offer from Cincinnati, but if he keeps playing the way he has through the first few weeks, he will likely end the year with several more.
The 6-foot-1, 214-pound Pollard opened the year with a 10-catch, 144-yard performance and hasn't slowed down since, tallying 16 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns through three games this season.

In addition to the Bearcats offer, Pollard caught the eye of the Auburn coaches at a camp during the summer.
"I went to camp there at Auburn and I did well," he said. "They knew who I was coming in and when I did well they put in the group of the top wide receivers and worked us out hard."
Growing up in South Georgia, Pollard said he's very familiar with the Tigers.
"It's a great school," he said. "It was fun being there on campus and they said they're going to be watching me and keeping in touch so hopefully I can get back soon."
Pollard added that he didn't grow up rooting for a particular school, but likes how he might fit into Auburn's offense.
"It's similar to ours and I like it a lot," he said. "Their wide receivers have to block but that's no problem for me."
As a sophomore, Pollard had 48 catches for 813 yards and seven touchdowns.
