2016 WR adds Michigan offer

Sophomore wide receiver Scott Bracey is one of the best players in the 2016 class. The Richmond (Va.) Benedictine stand out already has more than 15 scholarship offers but the offer he added the other day may be his biggest yet.
"I talked Coach Manning from Michigan and he told met that they offered me," said the 6-foot2, 195-pound Bracey. "He had been down to the school a few weeks ago. He was telling me about his experience at Michigan and that he wanted me to try to get up there on campus. I'll try to do that some time during the offseason.

"I'm a college football fan so I know a little bit about Michigan," he said. "I think they have some young players that will contribute in a couple of years. They are having an up and down year. They took that loss to Penn State, which was a tough one. They have Derrick Green up there already and Wilton Speight coming in."
Bracey recently visited Virginia Tech.
"That win over Miami was a huge win for them," Bracey said. "They just came off two losses to Duke and Boston College. That win was good for them against a ranked team. The defense played well. I could see myself fitting in over there."
Although he isn't talking to many coaches right now, Bracey is thinking about a few other visits.
"I think I'll go to the South Carolina game when they play Clemson," he said. "I'm just going to be there to watch the game. I've visited South Carolina before.
"I want to go up to Michigan some time because I'm pretty interest in them," said Bracey. "I want to see the campus and everything. It's not too close to home but we've had some players from Richmond go up there in the past few years so I figure there's something up there that's so great that they want to go there. I want to figure out what that is too."
It's very early for Bracey to start thinking about favorites but this most recent offer has really grabbed his attention.
"Some of the schools that stand out to me are the ones that I have been to their campus already," he said. "I can't really say anything about the ones I haven't visited yet.
"Michigan stands out to me a lot, I guess," Bracey said. "They put a lot of people into the NFL from there."
Some of Bracey's other offers include Clemson, Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia and others.
