2016 Rivals250 DB high on LSU, TCU, South Carolina

In today's recruiting world it's not surprising to hear about prospects wanting to get away from home and experience something different. Count Class of 2016 Rivals250 defensive back Trayvon Mullen in that group.
"Yeah I have not problem getting out of Florida," said Mullen, who said he's regularly in talks with LSU, South Carolina and TCU. "It would be nice to get away from home for college and it's probably something I want to do."

Mullen said LSU fits the bill of a quality program away from home that also has a rich history of developing players at his position.
"LSU is high with me," Mullen said. "I look past the winning and losing season type of thing, I just look at as far as me playing and fitting in to the type of things they do, things like that."
Mullen also holds South Carolina in high regard.
"I like South Carolina," he said. "I feel like I can go in there and play early with my talent. I'm a standout kid, 6'2 corner, something that's not usual. Me and the coaches talk about it a lot, we have a good relationship, so that's why I really like them."
The possibility of playing in the Big 12 is one of many reasons Mullen said he's also considering TCU.
"I like TCU a lot," he said. "I like the things they do. I like the Big 12 and I just see myself in their defense, I just see myself with TCU doing big things if I were to go there."
Mullen is also an accomplished wide receiver and said both Ohio State and Oklahoma continue to look at him to potentially play on either side of the ball.
This spring Mullen said he's planning to take several unofficial visits, with schools like Ole Miss, TCU, North Carolina and several others on his list."
