MORE: Interest in Jhonathon Williams continues to grow

The 6-foot-1, 162-pound Riggins is a point guard on the basketball court in the winters and lines up at cornerback for the Big Blue during the fall. College interest from both sports has already begun.
"I am still playing both right now," Riggins said. "Right now it is an open thing. I would love to try to get into college for basketball, but I would definitely do [football]."
Riggins has already begun receiving mail from Florida State, Ohio State, Iowa, Cincinnati, Nebraska and Virginia for football. On the basketball side, Xavier, Dayton, Arizona and DePaul are among the schools sending recruiting mailings.
While basketball is Riggins' preference now, he plans to go through the recruiting process for both sports. AAU basketball kept him off the summer football camp circuit, but he plans to start looking at unofficial visits this fall.
"We just got a new head coach and he is real good with that stuff," Riggins said. "I am going to be talking to him about getting out to some college games this year. I really want to go see Ohio State this year. Jalin Marshall just got there and he came out of our league. I'd like to see how he does in college."
