2016 recruit lands USC offer

Breland Brandt is possibly one of the better 2016 prospects in California.
He proved that with a strong performance at the RCS Southern California in recent weeks. And he's also backed up his reputation by adding some major offers including his latest one from USC.

The Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward prospect who plays defensive end and tight end recently talked with USC coach Steve Sarkisian and assistant coach Tee Martin and they made it clear they would love to have him in the program.
Brandt, a 6-foot-3, 208-pound prospect, is still in his sophomore year and he's already landed offers from USC, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, San Diego State and UCLA.
"I was at school and I talked to coach Martin and then he put me on the phone with coach Sarkisian and he said they think I fit the Trojan program very well and they'd love to have me as a Trojan," Brandt said.
"It's a huge offer. It's great to know that my hard work is paying off and I'm extremely blessed to have an offer like that. It's a major offer for me."
With six offers already on the table and so much time left in his recruitment, Brandt said he absolutely does not want to rush a decision.
Many other programs are recruiting him and because of his special physical ability the Los Angeles Windward standout could definitely become a national prospect.
Brandt said his father basically handles most of the recruiting work so he's not sure which teams are most involved or could offer next but he said USC is definitely an offer he will seriously consider - when the time comes.
"I have so much time to think about it I just want to go through all my options to make sure when it becomes time I make the right decision," Brandt said.
