2016 RB Dowdle likes three

Rico Dowdle of Asheville (N.C.) A. C. Reynolds has three schools that he really likes so far. Oregon is standing out to the junior running back.
"I like their offense and how they run things there," said the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Dowdle. "I like their uniforms and their coaches. I like their locker room and their campus."

Dowdle's other favorite schools are Tennessee and South Carolina.
"Tennessee feels like a family school to me," he said. "I like them because I was originally from South Carolina and I like to go back there and play."
Dowdle is also considering Virginia Tech, Boston College, Nebraska and N.C. State. His latest offer was from Wake Forest in June.
"I visited once during the summer and I liked their campus too," Dowdle said. "I also like their coaches."
Dowdle will not have any visits planned until the winter at the earliest. Some of the schools that he is considering to visit at some point during this school year are Notre Dame, South Carolina and Appalachian State but his most recent visit was to Wake Forest.
"It was good," he said. "I was able to explore the campus. I am thinking about how college life would be there. I liked it all and that might be a school that I want to go to."
Dowdle feels like Virginia Tech and Wake Forest are the schools that are recruiting him the hardest right now. He has been talking to those two schools the most lately.
Dowdle has 98 carries for 917 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns along with 11 receptions for 183 yards and four reception touchdowns in the six games he has played in this season.
