2016 R250 WR Hawkins likes OSU

One of the many visitors at Ohio State for the Rutgers game was 2016 Rivals250 wide receiver Brad Hawkins Jr.. The Camden (N.J.) standout really liked what he saw on the field.
"It was very nice," said the 6-foot-3, 193-pound Hawkins. "I know that it is cold there but I like that the campus is like a city. They threw the ball a lot. I know they have a couple senior receivers and one freshman so it's looking kind of good for them right now."

The blow out doesn't hurt Rutgers' chances with Hawkins.
"I'm very interested in Rutgers," he said. "They show a lot of love and when I go up there it's a nice environment. It's perfect up there and there's nothing like home love. At the Michigan game, it was my first time up there. It was very nice. It was a good atmosphere and my eye got big."
Hawkins is hoping to visit Maryland or Virginia Tech on November 8 or November 15.
"I'd like to see them throw the ball a lot and see how the crowd is," said Hawkins. "Hopefully the environment is good and it's like a family."
Three schools are in touch with Hawkins more than others.
"Rutgers, Temple and Ohio State are the three schools I'm hearing from a lot," he said. "I'm very interested in Temple. When I go down there they show me a lot of love. It's nice down there and I've been to a lot of games there."
Hawkins is hoping for offers from Clemson, Arizona and North Carolina.
