2016 QB dreams of catching Oklahomas eye

Class of 2016 Nashville (Tenn.) Franklin Road quarterback Spencer Jones is still trying to make a name for himself in recruiting circles and his performance this past weekend at the Golden Arm Challenge in Atlanta, Ga. could go a long way toward putting him on the map.
The 6-foot-2, 169-pound Jones had a good weekend and said he accomplished what he wanted.

"I'm hoping to get on the radar," Jones said. "I want to get some more interest before my junior season."
Jones, who is also accomplished in the classroom as he is on the football field, is getting looks from Ivy League schools like Princeton as well. He said he'll investigate those options, but his really hoping to catch the eye of his childhood dream school.
"Oklahoma is the one offer I really want," he said. "My whole family is from there but just me and my brother at the only ones who weren't raised there. I'm going to try to go out there and catch their attention. I've toured their facilities and it's a very nice campus and the coaches are nice, I've met them so I'm hoping to get there again."
