"I really enjoyed my trip to Georgia," said Walker, who holds offers from Clemson, Tennessee, UCLA and others. "It was my first time going between the hedges, it was live. I don't know what Georgia did in the second half but they came out on fire and got it done."
Walker said he got a chance to talk with the Georgia coaches, and they let him know that a successful junior season will likely lead to an offer.
"They gave me a lot of attention," Walker said. "They just said keep doing what I've been doing and they want to see how my film looks and they should offer."
Miami has turned up the heat on Walker since the contact period began earlier this month and Walker said he will be on campus in Coral Gables for the Duke game on Sept. 27.
"I have been talking a lot with the defensive line coach and he really wants to get me down for a game," Walker said. "They've been really talking to me a lot for the last few weeks and I think if I get down there on campus they might offer me on the spot."
Walker said he plans to visit Tennessee and Auburn next month, and will choose between the Vols game against Florida and the Tigers game against LSU, both of which are on Oct. 4. Later in the month he said he will visit Clemson for the Tigers game against Louisville on Oct. 11.
On the season, Walker has 10 tackles, 4.5 sacks and one rushing touchdown as an offensive player.
