2016 DE Madden recaps Ole Miss, Miss. State trips

It's been nearly two months since Class of 2016 Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Northridge defensive end Jalen Madden picked up his first SEC offer and if things continue in the direction they've been going, it shouldn't be long until more schools add to his list.
"Everything is going good," the 6-foot-1, 275-pound prospect said. "I went to camp at Mississippi State and Ole Miss last month and I'm going to camp at Auburn on July 19."

Mississippi State offered Madden after seeing him in person in May and he said his trip to the Bulldogs campus went well.
"It was nice it looked like they were in the middle of adding more stuff to the campus and I liked it," he said. "The coaches also showed me a lot of love. They were very interactive with me."
After camping in Starkville, Madden made his way to Oxford, where he said he impressed the Rebels coaches as well.
"Ole Miss told me they were going to offer soon," Madden said. "Campus was really nice. I loved their campus and just the atmosphere was really great. The coaches were great. They said I had the best hands in one-on-ones. I just overall loved it there."
Despite growing up in the shadow of Alabama's campus and as a fan of the Tide, Madden said he's eager to see what Auburn has to offer later this month.
"I'm pretty excited to about that," he said.
Following the trip to Auburn Madden said he's pretty much done camping for the summer and will shift his focus to his upcoming junior season.
