2016 DB knows three that will make cut

Rising junior defensive back Robbie Robinson is one of the most highly regarded cornerbacks in the 2016 class. The Hampton (Va.) Phoebus star is starting to figure out what he is looking for out of his recruitment.
"Clemson, Penn State, Wisconsin, Virginia and Georgia Tech are the ones I talk to most right now," said the 5-foot-9, 167-pound Robinson. "It's still early right now so I'm just trying to build more relationships with the coaches that I can see how much I fit in with the program."

Robinson is close to making significant cuts to his list.
"I like all the schools right now," he said. "I think right around the end of the summer or the beginning of the season I should be able to make some cuts. If not before the season it'll happen some time after the season. I know I'll be making some cuts during the fall when I take those visits.
"Clemson is definitely going to make the cut," Robinson said. "Penn State and Virginia will also make the cut. I'll probably cut down to ten."
The Rose Bowl champions recently added their name to Robinson's growing offer sheet.
"Michigan State is my newest offer," he said. "I like them. They're a really hard-nosed program, especially on defense. They get after the ball and are very aggressive on defense. I'm looking to get up to Michigan State some time in the fall for a game and go back around next summer for one of the camps up there."
Robinson is also hoping to visit Penn State, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin, Temple, Clemson and Duke before the season begins.
