2016 DB Jackson adds two ACC offers

Class of 2016 Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek defensive back Javon Jackson recently picked up offers from Wake Forest and North Carolina, bringing is offer list to three total. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect said he's thrilled to see his list growing.
"It's always exciting to get new offers and know that your hard work is paying off," he said. "I want to make sure I visit both schools and get out and see a few others soon."

Both offers came after the ACC programs had a chance to watch Jackson play live, now he's doing his best to learn about what each has to offer.
"North Carolina came down to my school and they liked me," Jackson said. "I don't know much about them really. I watched them play Duke and they killed them. That was a big win for them."
The Demon Deacons can offer Jackson a mix of academics and athletics, something he said is important.
"They have been down a couple of times to see me and they think I can be a good fit academically and athletically," Jackson said. "They like me as a safety or maybe a corner depending on how I grow and develop."
Other programs showing interest include Ole Miss and Alabama. The Rebels have done a great job recruiting Sandy Creek over the past few years and Jackson said he hopes he can get on the school's radar.
"I'm not sure how much they like me yet but they have recruited our school a lot," he said. "I know a lot of guys there already and they tell me they really like it."
Jackson had 58 total tackles, six interceptions and three pass breakups as a junior in 2014.
