2016 DB high on N.C. State

After competing for and earning a starting spot during spring practice, class of 2016 Atlanta (Ga.) Mays cornerback Monquavion Brinson has now shifted his focus to recruiting, and earning his first scholarship offer.
"My coach keeps telling me that the offers are coming," he said. "The N.C. State coach came and saw me last week and my coach let me know that they like me and they want to see me more."

Brinson said he's been reading up on the Wolfpack program since and is ready to continue to develop a relationship with the coaching staff.
"I'm just looking forward to that," Brinson said. "If they were my first offer I would like to commit, but I'm trying to be patient and take it slow."
Brinson, who has also been in contact with Georgia and Ole Miss, had the chance to compete in front of several coaches at his spring scrimmage on Friday and said he received good feedback.
"It feels good to know I impressed this spring," he said. "When the coaches come to see me it just helps give me that extra motivation."
This summer Brinson is planning on camping at several schools, including Mississippi State, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Vanderbilt and Georgia.
