2016 DB getting looks
In southern Virginia Traveon Redd is starting to make a lot of noise. Some big name schools are starting to show interest in the defensive back from Ridgeway (Va.) Magna Vista.
"I'm still getting a lot of looks from different schools," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Redd. "Miami, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Penn State and Boston College are sending me mail."

Redd, a sophomore, has already started to take some visits.
"I've been to Georgia and Virginia Tech," he said. "I was supposed to go to Miami but I couldn't because I had a game."
It's still early in the process for Redd so contact with schools and coaches has been minimal.
"I've been to a few Virginia Tech camps," Redd said. "I haven't really talked with many coaches except for the ones at Virginia Tech."
Even though he doesn't have any offers yet and he would love to get one, Redd is hoping to get three specific ones.
"I'd say Virginia Tech, Georgia and LSU are three schools I'd really like to get offers from," he said.
Redd helped Magna Vista go 11-2 this season.
