2016 DB Brown recaps Penn State camp

With six offers already on his list prior to Tuesday's Penn State/Georgia State camp in Atlanta, it shouldn't come as a surprise that 2016 Canton (Ga.) Cherokee Brittain Brown drew extra attention from the Nittany Lions coaching staff.
"I got a lot of good feedback, they like how aggressive I am," the 6-foot, 185-pound athlete said. "They like how I cover. They were working with me on some drills and the running back coach also pulled me off, too, to work some drills. I'm pretty sure they want me at running back more than safety so we'll have to see."

Brown said his preference is to play running back at the next level because it's his "natural position," but added that he's open to either side of the ball. It was also his first camp of the summer and he said he took away valuable lessons from the Penn State coaches.
"It was fun because they gave me some constructive criticism," he said. "Even though they want me a lot they still told me what I could work on as well and they worked me at both positions and I liked that."
Brown also admitted that he may not have attended the camp if it weren't being worked by the Penn State staff, in fact, he said he skipped a plan visit to Clemson in order to be there.
"I probably wouldn't have but the mix was unique," he said. "I was supposed to go to Clemson but my dad said they had Penn State camp here and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go up to Penn State so it was a good opportunity for me to work out with them."
Now Brown is hoping his performance is good enough to add to his offer list.
"It would mean a lot," he said of earning an offer. "That's another Big 10 school. I have Nebraska right now and another big school like that would just add to the list.
Brown said he's planning on camping at Miami this summer and will also be making a trip to Clemson sometime in the near future.
