2016 CB likes Buckeyes

Class of 2016 cornerback Tyrek Tisdale of Oak Ridge (Fla.) considers Ohio State his biggest offer among a field that also includes Miami, Louisville, Kentucky and UAB and pegs the Buckeyes as his top choice so far.
He's already visited the Buckeyes once earlier this summer.

"Right now my best offer is Ohio State," said Tisdale, who stands at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. "They have a great alumni and fan base and that's exciting. Eddie George and Joey Galloway, they have a store on the campus. I talked to Urban Meyer, (assistant coach Stan Drayton) and their top cornerback, and they told me to keep working because they're going to be watching me."
Tisdale plans on visiting the Buckeyes again later this month.
"I want to see more of the campus and see other stuff that people don't get to see," he said. "While I was up there, I got to see the Buckeye Grove."
After the Buckeyes, the rest of his schools are on an even playing field.
"Really, there's no specific order," he said. "I have many schools to come since it's just my junior year. So I'm keeping my options open with everything else."
Tisdale is hoping to see the in-state schools Florida and Florida State jump into the mix along with other SEC and ACC schools.
"I'm looking forward to those," he said.
So far this summer, he's visited Georgia Tech, Louisville, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Kentucky, Tennessee, Clemson and South Carolina. As for the rest of the summer, he'll take another bus tour July 14 to another school that's offered, UAB along with Troy State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern.
"UAB was my first offer," he said. "They really like my size and they told me to keep it up. They said they'll be showing me a lot of love this year. They were my first offer, so I was glad to have them to start my recruiting process, plus they're a D-1 school and they're a good school to look at too."
