2016 CB almost committed

When Temple was the first to offer Hialeah [Fla.] Champagnat Catholic cornerback Jotavius Barrett, he couldn't contain his excitement.
"I was going to commit but I held back to take my time," the class of 2016 recruit said at the Miami Dolphins 7-on-7 Tournament. "I want to see what's going on after this season. I think I'll get plenty of offers."

If Barrett's assumptions are correct, the offers could be coming sooner than later. Very soon, in fact. Last week, Barrett was told by his coach that Cincinnati may be reaching out to him sometime soon.
"I think I'll have an offer," said the 5-foot-9, 173-pound Barrett, who said he hopes to hear from the Bearcats this week.
Barrett said he's also received "a lot" of interest from West Virginia and Louisville and is himself interested in other schools.
"Right now, I'm in love with Miami," Barrett said, adding that he would also like to see offers from Florida, West Virginia and Louisville in addition to Cincinnati.
He'll work on getting additional offers this week when he hits the road for camps at West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, N.C. State and Clemson.
