2016 ATH talks first offer, next South Carolina visit

Class of 2016 Camden (N.J.) Camden Catholic athlete Tyree Rodgers does it all for his high school team, but it's looking more and more like his future will be at wide receiver.
"I got offered by Temple back in April and it was really big for me to get my first offer," the 6-foot, 192-pound Rodgers said. "They said they like me at wide receiver, I play quarterback for my high school but they know I play wide receiver for my 7-on-7 team and they think that will be my position in college."
Rodgers was on campus in Philadelphia last week and said he enjoyed the experience.
"It's a nice place and they were showing me a lot of love," Rodgers said. "I'm an athlete for my team and that's what they like about me, but I don't care what position I play in college."
The Owls are currently the only offer on Rodgers list, but that could be changing soon.
"I think South Carolina is the closest to offering me next," Rodgers said. "But they said they want to see me perform more. I visited there before and they like my size and everything they just want me to show what I can do in a camp. Our team is going down there for a camp soon so that will be my chance."
