2015 Rivals250 WR to visit Jackets

Class of 2015 Rivals250 watch list and Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes wide receiver Tavin Richardson started his season by playing a terrific game on national television and things haven't slowed down since for the 6-foot-3, 206-pounder.
"Everything has been going good for me lately," Richardson said. "I just picked up my 11th offer from Mississippi State."

Since the Bulldogs offered their in-state rivals Ole Miss have also picked up their interest in Richardson.
"I talked to the Ole Miss wide receiver coach and he said he really liked my film," Richardson said. "He said I could be a big part of the offense and help them win championships in the future."
Richardson said he's been paying close attention to the Rebels and how they're already using their highly rated 2013 class on the field.
"I watched the Texas game and they didn't throw much because Texas couldn't stop the run," Richardson said. "That doesn't matter that much to me but I like how they play their top guys early as true freshmen."
In addition to Ole Miss, Richardson said LSU, Ohio State and Florida State have all stepped up their interest. This weekend, Richardson will visit Georgia Tech for the Yellow Jackets game against North Carolina.
"I'm looking forward to atmosphere and how the guys play together," he said. "They run it a lot but they teach their wide receivers how to block and not be selfish about getting the ball all the time. You can't be selfish there; it's a mental focus thing. You have to sacrifice yourself for the team and do everything it takes to win."
